Engineers Develop French Designed E-Bike Based On Artificial Intelligence

The novel e-bike defines new approach ensuring the user never runs out of battery and guarantees safety.

The Franks designed a hundred percent automatic e-bike, based on artificial intelligence to observe various routes taken by the user. It is equipped with a button called ‘i.Ride mode’ which traces the routes and puts them into function whenever required. It estimates the battery level, topography of the site, travelling distance and the speed and direction of the wind.

The e-bike is designed in such a manner that it choses electrical assistance and makes sure the rider reaches the destination without running out of power. The system also allows android or iOS to be connected, to track the destination before actually heading the place. The bike is mounted with Brose motor powered by 497-Wh lithium battery. The energy consumption rate of the e-bike is 350 Watt which ensures that it can travel approximately 160 km with charging of only 3.5 hours.  The bike is fitted with two hydraulic disk brakes, 250 lumen LED headlight, an anti-theft alarm and a GPS tracking system. It weighs around 18 kg and costs 2,256 US dollars.

The features that set this bike apart from the rest include, integrated and removable battery system, auto-ignition headlights, carbon belt that ensures clean transmission, electronic lock system, alarm and SMS alert for security purposes, compact wheel size and motion detection system. Thus, the lightweight e-bike promises travelling city in a clean and effortless manner. It is a great alternative to an automotive that pollutes the environment, occupies too much space and requires high maintenance. It aims to simplify one’s journey through agile and balanced system being a perfect companion in journeys undertaken by the user.
